About Cameron Ansari
With an English boarding school education and a childhood spent in the south of England, Cameron brings an Old World sensibility to representing the buyers and sellers of Houston’s most prestigious addresses. For him, a fine home is the most enduring asset a family can possess over generations.
Cameron is a graduate of the London School of Economics, with the result that he takes a thoroughly business-like approach to luxury real-estate marketing. “I’m a great believer in using business tools and methods to sell high-end properties,” he says. “Database marketing, statistical analysis of market areas, professionally-designed high-quality marketing materials and e-commercial methods are all part of my selling strategy.”
Nevertheless, he does not forget that buying and selling a home – and that’s what this process is about, not merely a house – requires making clients feel confident that they are well cared for. “This is a service- and relationship-driven business,” says Cameron. “I’m pleased that I’m now working with the grown children of many of my original clients.” Cameron’s 30-years-plus sales experience includes marketing multi-million dollar properties – many of significant architectural interest – in River Oaks, as well as the Memorial Villages, West University and Mexico.
In 2001, Cameron founded the highly respected River Oaks Market Report (Lazywood Press), a twice-yearly analysis of current market conditions in Houston’s high-end real estate market. His wife Teresa Byrne-Dodge joined Cameron as a realtor at Greenwood King Properties in 2015, and together they added the monthly digital River Oaks Letter to their stable of publications.
With his deep and diverse background, Cameron is often asked to speak about the Houston real estate market and the ins and outs of luxury real estate marketing. He also has a jolly ex-pat’s viewpoint of living in Houston.
